Competitor Entry: Robot Rampage Grand Opening

Robot Rampage is excited to share its first Featherweight (30lb) and Sportsman Heavyweight (250lb) competition.  The event will be hosted on the 5th and 6th of October 2024 at our event space in Auckland, New Zealand and will mark the grand opening of the Robot Rampage Arena.

Note: This is an open event, where competitors bring their own robots.

• 4th October (evening): Sign in and Safety Checks
• 5th October: Fights
• 6th October: Fights

Location: Robot Rampage, 69F/A Onehunga Mall, Auckland, New Zealand

Capacity: First in first served

• Sportsman Heavyweight: 8 Robots, design approval required
• Featherweight: 16 Robots

Key rules:

• Arena is 6x6m with steel floor
• Permanent magnets for downforce are not permitted 
• Flamethrowers are not permitted
• Heavyweight robots will be sportsman rules (see SPARC ruleset for guide) and need to be approved by Robot Rampage
• Featherweight tip speed limit of 200mph
